16-21 Aug 2010 - is the youth group summer camp for this year
Soul Survivor is an annual Christian youth festival in Somerset. Last year 24,000 young people were there over 3 weeks and we're going.

The festival is well organised and includes many bands, Christian speakers, workshops, activities, cafes, indoor skate park, cinema etc... See www.soulsurvivor.com for more details of what we will be doing.

The festival site is divided into ‘villages’ of about 100 people and we’ll be camping together in one of these. The villages are planned so that we will camp near to other people from our area. The camp is for those aged 12 years or over by 1st September 2010. All in the CFS party will be expected to follow the instructions of the leadership and of course if a young person continued to act inappropriately they would need to return home early.

What do I need to bring?
We will be camping and cooking together. The church has a supply of camping equipment, tents, sleeping bags, lilos, etc, so no worries about that.

Just to let everyone know it will be raining a lot until wednesday (where it will be windy and the rain will slowly stop) and then we should be having fair weather from thursday onwards. Hope everyone is prepared with a rain jacket, warm clothes and a happy heart for a fantastic time ahead. Prepare yourselves for millions of pics to be taken lol.
