A shop type premises at 453 London Road, Westcliff, opposite the Palace Theatre. A place to serve and work with our local community as a meeting place, a base to branch out and help others, and a space to share.

We have acquired, renovated and transformed this shop premises into Shared Space. Staffed by enthusiastic and determined volunteers from Southend and the church, we intend to make a difference. This is a challenge for us as a church, but we feel this is just what Jesus wants of us.

We see three areas in the shop

1. Building Relationships: e.g. relaxing, drinking coffee, talking, sharing, helping, a place to “be” as we explore life.
2. Charity Shop where we raise money and provide training. Money raised will be ploiughed into activities that benefit Southend. This ws started in September 2010
3. Specialist Activities: we are setting these up through the autumn of 2010.

- Become a volunteer at Shared Space.

- Donate Goods for the charity shop.
