At the start of October Phil moved to Southend for 9 months with CFS. Phil is in his final year training as a Baptist minister with Regents College, Oxford.

Was Phil thinking about all this training and development when he arrived? Probably yes and no! Phil's head would have been spinning with his very recent engagement to long time friend, Jo Doig. Well done Phil and Jo!

If you've been around the church you may remember Phil spending a few weeks with CFS for a summer placement in 2009: somehow we didn't put him off! Phil joins our leadership team and is working alongside Peter and Ivan in the church's life and wider mission. Mondays and Tuesdays of each week he will be travelling to Oxford for his course at Regents College.
