Comment on Ivan's blog: by going to Connect > Ivan's Blog

Comment on articles: if there is a comment box at the bottom of an article, if you comment whilst logged in it will appear first, if not it will shortly after once moderated.

Write a blogs: there is a personal blog setup ready for members to use the same as Ivan's. Login, go to the members area and click on the word "Blog" and off you go! Others can comment on your blog and the world can see it.

Discussion forums: Open to all. They are an experiement to see if this is the best way to do this. To join or start a conversation: Connect>Discussion Form or click here

Shoutbox: when logged in , it's in the members area on the right side of the screen. Just type your message and press enter to be left for others to see.

One to one chat: This live chat is easy to miss out on. When logged in look at "Online Friends (N)" at bottom of the screen below everything else. Click on the number (N) to pick someoen to chat to. (0) means you're the only person logged in at that time.

Other things: members can do clever things with Twitter and Facebook  to hook their activity status up to the website we think. Not tried it ourselves yet. Send private messages to other members. Upload photos or look at the 300+ uploaded by others at December 2009 in the members area. And we plan to soon have ways to link your Facebook or Picassa photo album to your profile.
