"Praying with Jesus" is the title for all our resources throughout May. For the four weeks all the church groups are using the material.

Week 1: Close to God?- as we find out what being close to God rather than our feelings is about.
Week 2: Two Way Street - as we hear from Jesus
Week 3: Prayer Drive - as the church gets out and about Southend, Westcliff, etc to pray for our town.
Week 4: Breaking Free - as we move into new life on God's open road

During the month watch out for the following as they become available:

* A homemade CFS dvd for the groups each week. Packed with interviews and stories. Thanks to all who did an interview.
* Sunday 10 May 4pm, monthly gathering at Centre Place Community Centre, Southend, to draw the month together.
* Table talk meals on prayer to launch an ongoing prayer initiative.
* A prayer wall on church web site, discussion forums and lots more - appearing during the month.
* New Bible reading scheme for a month on Jesus and prayer - starting mid May.

But above all spend time being open to Jesus so you can pray with him not to him.
