Join the special email list It was a long day 9:30am - 8:30pm with taught sessions, case studies, encounter prayer activities, group work and practical exercises. 24 came from Kent to Norfolk and Southend to London. We are considering running a follow up day on new ways of being church in January 2011, called Emerging Church 101. Peter Dominey, Penny Marsh and Juliet Kilpin were the trainers. Thanks to Wood Lane Baptist Church in Dagenham for letting us borrow the building, and thanks to Rick, Matthew Dominey and Angie Summers for cooking the yellow thai chicken curry for supper. mmmmmmm! The day was under the auspices of the Crucible Course in partnership with Church from Scratch, Incarnate Network and Urban Expression with sponsorship from Eastern Baptist Association EBA, South East Baptist Assocation SEBA and London Baptist Association LBA and Spurgeons College! Almost as many sponsors as people! Hopes are to develop further partnership working of this type as we go forward. The Eastern Baptist Association is our home as a church. The first church planting training day went well on Saturday 25th September. We ran it together with partner organisations.
