My Story
- How I started with CFS
- First contact with Church from scratch was at alpha course at Olivers in 2007
- CFS and me today
- Currently trying to find new evening group to join
- Story of Me, Jesus and Faith
- I came to christianity after being at rock bottom I guess and completely lost after having spent most of my life chasing something to sort that constant ache out or to find that something that i knew was missing and never finding it and having to numb myself and fix on stuff as a result. I attended an Alpha Course and got a few answers and shattered some of my very wrong preconceptions about what I thought christianity is all about , I think the main thing I got from the first alpha course I done was probabely hope and finding out that I did'nt need to get all sorted out and perfect to go to God but to go as I am and ask God for the help to get sorted . So I continued meeting with CFS and I've made been making progress ever since its been up and down for sure but thats life and I have a faith now that makes the downs less dark and lonely and the ups better than ever.

First group I joined was the Alpha course group at Olivers on tuesday's
this then moved to Mine and Natalie for a bit but due to work commitments we could'nt carry on the day time group.
So now we go to monday night at Rachels house which is cool we both seem to have settled in there and are enjoying it. - Fav web sites & books

www.tangle.com is a very very cool christian community site with some great videos and a prayer wall............
I read the Bible when I can, but I'm failing miserably on keeping with the read the bible in 3 years program..........

1-In the past you were dead because you sinned and fought against God. 2-You followed the ways of this world and obeyed the devil. He rules the world, and his spirit has power over everyone who doesn't obey God. 3-Once we were also ruled by the selfish desires of our bodies and minds. We had made God angry, and we were going to be punished like everyone else.
4-5-But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and God's wonderful kindness is what saves you. 6-God raised us from death to life with Christ Jesus, and he has given us a place beside Christ in heaven. 7-God did this so that in the future world he could show how truly good and kind he is to us because of what Christ Jesus has done. 8-You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. It reminds me that its by Gods grace and not my own cunning plans.
Also reminds me that my greatest gift is faith.

Like most stuff really specially blues, country and rock ,am really into acoustic stuff alot at the moment been listening to alot of Suzzane Vega too She's a great song writer, also got a soft spot for some punk tunes too.
Christian music my favourites are Amy Grant, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Paul Baloche, Tim Hughes.
"I have decided", "El Shaddai" "Carry you" "Anywhere With Jesus" and "Jesus loves me" are my favourite Amy Grant songs
they have help me loads awesome songs definately worth a listen if you get a .
Films I like mainly comedys and horrors and most of the britsh movies.
I thought motorcycle diarys was an amazing foreign film. - Interests

Love Music ,playing guitar,some songwriting, camping and the outdoors, also mess around with radio control planes a bit too and motorcyles .
Watch most of the f1, bike racing and X Games plus freestyle moto x is cool too.
Also done some parachuting and white water rafting both were cool.
Would like to try some kayaking and kite boarding sometime.
I went to my first theatre show recently with Natalie to see Chicago the musical which I thought was amazing so would like to see some more shows if I can.
